MGES Intro

First Army Public School at Multan with the name of Kehkashan Army Public School was established in 1976 with the aim of providing quality education to the wards of Army personnel and civilians at primary level. The school was progressively up-graded to secondary level in 1992. Army Public Degree College was established in 1998 to run Intermediate and Degree classes for wards of military personnel as well as civilians. In June 2008 both KAPS and APDC were merged to restructure into three schools to cater for the ever expanding needs of education of Army wards and provide better management and control. On 4th Nov 2010 in Board of Governors meeting it was decided to establish Multan Garrison Education System (MGES). MGES replaced GWB / Governing body, Management Committee and Central Office. APS & C Khanewal and GAM were estb in Mar 2015. GAM is affiliated with CAIE. Administrative and Financial Control of APS&C Khanewal was transferred to COD Khanewal in May 2022.
